If you've received a PlainsCapital Bank Visa Gift Card, your card was activated at the time of purchase and is ready to use immediately. You can make purchases using your gift card anywhere Visa is accepted. To make a purchase, swipe the card through a merchant pay terminal or give your card to the cashier.

Disclosure - This Disclosure is a contract which establishes the rules covering your Gift Card with PlainsCapital Bank, Lubbock, Texas. By using this product you agree and accept all the terms and conditions of this Disclosure. Please read it carefully.
A Gift Card is a card that accesses funds paid in advance to cover future purchases or cash withdrawals. The funds that are paid in advance are held by a financial institution and then released per usage until the cards value has been fully or partially depleted.
The Gift Card is disposable (issued with a specific value and usable until that value is depleted).
Business Day - A Business Day is any day that we are open for banking business. Every day is a Business Day except for Saturdays, Sundays and federal holidays.
Gift Cards - The Gift card will be purchased in a Non-Personalized, instant issue manner, and funded at any PlainsCapital Bank location during normal business hours. Once the funds have been used, the gift card is not re-usable, nor re-loadable. The minimum dollar amount that can be issued on the Gift Card is $25.00 per card. The maximum amount that can be issued is $2,500.00 per card. Error Resolution:
Consumer Liability - If you lose the gift card, it is not replaceable or refundable unless the original purchaser has previously registered and activated the card on the aforementioned web site.
Card Usage - You may use your gift card at any merchant location that accepts the Visa Logo.
Daily Dollar Limit Amount - The daily dollar limit that can be used from signature based merchant transactions is $1,000.00.
Fees for the Gift Card - If you purchase a gift card at any of the PlainsCapital Bank locations, there will be a $5.00 fee. Beginning one (1) year after a gift card has had no activity; there will be a $5.00 inactivity fee per month, for the remaining balance of the card.
Card Expiration - Gift cards will expire five (5) to six (6) years after the day they were purchased. All remaining funds on the Gift Card will be lost when the card has expired. The expiration date is provided on the front of the card.
